St. Luke’s Methodist Church is situated in Welkom, South Africa. The St. Luke’s Tabernacle has been up and running as a 24/7 Prayer Room since May 2005. Although we have only achieved 168 hours a week on very few occasions, we continue to aim for full coverage. Our vision is to offer 24/7 worship and intercession for the Church and City.
If you are in Welkom and would like to experience the Tabernacle, you are most welcome to come in to the Church (c/o Long and Arrarat Roads) and book your slot. If you have a prayer request you can email the Church (saintlukeschurch@gmail.com) and we’ll gladly pass it on to our Intercessors in the Tabernacle.
The aim of this blog is for Tabernacle users to be able to give testimonies and for us to share exciting news and developments with the world. May the Lord who hears every prayer bless you as you serve Him. Also please bear with us as we try to keep this page interesting and inspiring.
We are very excited that the construction of our new Tabernacle building is now complete. See the photos below! We held our dedication services on Sunday 2 August the Tabernacle . For the 7 days following the dedication we had about a 90% success rate of faithfully covering 24-hour-a-day prayer in a Week of Dedication. We believe we will continue to grow to a point where we’ll be queuing to get in!! Check out the photos below.
